NAME: Arden Harvina
GENDER: Female
AGE: 17 in human years. 109 in Vampire years.
RACE: Vampire
LOOKS:
Arden is a very beautiful and enchanting young lady. For her human age she is young looking. Despite her “monster” age, as she calls it, she doesn’t feel as young as she looks. Her eyes are a light shade of blue/ gray; cloudy. Her hair is a light curly brown and ends at her mid torso, just below her breast. It is a little fuzzy when she dresses up but normally it is a pretty medium curl. She has a good facial structure and an elegant young face. Despite her dark circled eyes and pale, stone cold skin she is very lovely. She mostly wears jeans with a few rips and tears and long-sleeved shirts with a black cape with a hood that she likes to use to cover her face. Her perfect hour-glass figure helps her to stand out in a crowd; when she’s not wearing her cape. She always wears the cross necklace that her beloved Blake gave her along with her mothers leaf necklace that has a swirl crystal attached.
PERSONALITY: Arden is really quiet and observant. She is sometimes depressed and hates on herself for what she is. She doesn’t like to get involved into a lot; mostly likes to keep to herself. Every once in awhile she will get a burst of confidence and be someone totally new. She isn’t really afraid of anything except getting close to someone and hurting them. She doesn’t like to let people in and doesn’t like to get involved with them. When she does, she leaves as soon as she sees it fit for their safety. If she is ever angered she gets really uncontrollable and attacks anything in her path, unless she is angered verbally; then she starts breathing really deep and starts to shut down. Then she walks off and calms down before coming back to maturely handle the situation. Unless everyone at the time is in danger.
When you get to know her and if she lets you, she is a really nice caring, and loving vampire. She doesn’t get angered very easily and loves to be active. With her never really staying in one place for very long she has an advantage of loving to be active. She is very polite, calm, and respectful.
PAST: Arden was born in 1901 in Evanston, Illinois. As Arden grew up, she helped her family take care of their small farm and sell crop. At the time there was a little war going on in the area; ranging from Chicago, Arlington Heights to Palatine and Joliet. Even thought Evanston is on the outskirts of the war area it was still hard for her family to grow and sell crop. With all of the smog in the air most were afraid to go out of there houses. The few that did, didn't waste any time. There was a rumor spread throughout the city that you would get a mutation from being exposed for too long. But of course that was just a rumor, but you did get a sickness from it.
At first only a few little amount of people got sick and ended up in the hospital.
People were more and more lenient about going outside. They started to buy more and
more crops from Arden's family. But as soon as the war progressed, it became harder
and harder to grow crop and people became more demanding. The city foke started
to believe that eating more fruits and vegetables would make it harder for them to
get sick.
For awhile the crop worked, but once the crop went down more and more people became sick. Soon there were more deaths then there were of people getting better. Ardens family was one of the last who had caught the sickness. They couldn’t be rushed to a hospital so they were forced to handle it at their home. Her mother soon died; leaving her father to take care of the family.
Soon after her mother died, they were able to get to the hospital. Her father died a week after their arrival. Arden only had her little brother and her boyfriend left of her family. Her brother died in his sleep a week after their father. Her boyfriend, Blake, had disguised himself as a doctor to see her through the chaos. She was dieing and he knew it. She didn’t know that he was a vampire and he was waiting for the right time to tell her.
Since she lost her family and that most of the city was already either dead or dieing, she wouldn’t be missed. He decided that now was the time; he waited for the chaos to calm at nightfall to enter her room and tell her. She was too weak to talk so he didn’t really need to waste any effort to argue with her. Just when he was about to tell her she died.
Blake rushed to her side and bite her before is was too late. She immediately came back so he stopped before he killed her again. He picked her up into his arms and carried her off to his house. As she was carried off she was shaking and thrashing about in his arms, causing him to go slower than he’d liked. Once they arrived he placed her on is bed and sat next to her as he watched her thrashing come to an end.
She woke with a fright and started to mumble and slather her words. He put his hand on her elegantly beautiful mouth and calmed her. He told her everything and explained that he would never leave her; that he would help with the thirst that she would now have. For awhile she learned and followed his teachings and how to handle things. Soon she started thinking that it wasn’t going to work for her; the thirst was starting to become too much for her.
One day after Blake was helping her catch her own food, she started wanting more and more. The deer that he had her practice on didn’t do much to help and she could help but want at taste of him. She loved and appreciated him for he did; he gave her life. A long life that she can be with him forever. As much as she loved him she couldn’t hold herself back from going at him and drinking his blood. It tasted so much better than the deer that she couldn’t stop.
After a few minutes of drinking, his body lay flat on the forest floor. She thought that he was just resting, building up his strength so that he could yell at her and tell her that that wasn’t a good thing to do; even though he loved her so. She waited a little longer and hoped that he would get up, but he didn’t. His limp body just lay there. She started going frantic and shaking him like crazy, trying to get him to wake up. She stopped and laid her head in his chest; crying and yelling into it. She couldn’t figure out why she just didn’t stop when he was screaming for her too.
She got up after a few days of crying and yelling at herself and picked him up to a pile of branches that had fallen on the day she killed him. She didn’t like the thought that she had killed her love. The one that promised that wouldn’t leave her no matter what happened. Once she placed him on the branch pile she lit it on fire and watched his body turn to ash.
She still stood there when the flame came to a stop and stared into the ash pile, hoping that it was just a dream. But it wasn’t. She turned towards his home to grab a few things and left it after burning it to the ground. She didn’t bother to stay and watch it too.
Since then she started heading anywhere away from what she had done. Hoping that someday something would kill her. She doesn't like to think about the time that she was turned; it's not and easy thing, not something that she could forget.
